It's been a long-standing joke in my family that I had zero athletic abilities. When I cheer "Touchdown" at my son's baseball games, my husband likes to remind people that I was on the varsity jump rope team. It's true. I was on the jump rope team, but it wasn't varsity and guess what?! It was a lot harder than it sounds! Try jumping rope for 45 minutes straight!

Long story short, I wanted to turn this so-called deficiency into something great. How could I take my jump roping history and make it into a future of creative fun? How could I personify 2 things I love – writing and strategy into a single sticky name? That's why I opened my first LLC in September 2017 and named it JumpRope Ideas. I got the idea to open my own business when I was a fill-in copy lead for a brand I used to manage at a prior agency. From that humbling experience I rediscovered my love for writing and a new place to flex my strategic muscle.

So here I am world. Ready to write, create, ideate and just...be happy.
